Troubleshooting Common Issues
Game won't launch after installing the translation
Install all Visual C++ Redistributables from the _Redist folder included in the download. This is the most common fix.
"Path contains special characters" error
Move the game to a simple path like C:\Games\PvZFusion. Avoid folders with spaces, accents, or non-English characters. Do NOT use Desktop, Downloads, or OneDrive-synced folders.
Game launches but text is still in Chinese
Open the in-game settings menu and change the language to English. If the option isn't there, you may have extracted the wrong release — make sure you downloaded the Multi-Language version.
Android APK installation fails
Make sure you are installing over the existing game without uninstalling first. Enable 'Install from unknown sources' in your device settings. Ensure you have enough storage space.
Antivirus blocks the game or translation files
This is a false positive. Add the game folder to your antivirus exclusion list. The translation mod modifies game DLL files, which some antivirus software flags incorrectly.
Save data disappeared after updating
